Bukit Antarabangsa Classified ? Fuck that !

About a year ago on December 6, 2008, Bukit Antarabangsa suffered a landslide that was caused by a burst pipe. This burst pipe has been cited as the reason why the landslide happen which took the lives of 5 people (surely more but like the govt is gonna say) and millions in damages.

Recently Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, have declassified the investigation report prepared by the Public Works Department. This report as stated by Tan Sri Khalid is for the public which can be purchased at the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council. Serge is happy that Tan Sri here had the balls to actually tell the people why the fuck the landslide happen. (source)

Now the Selangor government have issued a declaration that the report is classified and cannot reveal the cause of the landslide. Citing that the Cabinet had classified the documents on them as secret and they failed to get the secret classification on it changed by the Works Ministry.(source)

Let us pause for a moment and ask what the fuck is this shit ? State secret ? Hmm hmm hmm. How and why is this a secret ? Serge wants to know why? Most of us would just love to know why.

A tragedy had happen, lives was taken before their due date and its a secret? Hello ! It’s not like the world doesn’t know and what the victims want is closure, Serge is sure of it. Are these secrets so compelling that you the government want to keep because it shows how inept you are in dealing with the tragedy ?

Is it because, that you might show to the world that something like a burst pipe and the cause of it; is the factor of the landslide and that it is going to hurt your national pride ? Maybe because you think that we are still young and some things such as this, should not be learned.

We are not children any more, we have our opinions and that opinion will be, that we want to know. Even though the tragedy is over and even though some of us are busy suing your ass for this, what we want is closure. We the people of Malaysia want is closure.

Serge is not sure how you people sleep at night, we can’t. We just can’t sleep until we know why.
