Sergeatus : Mama Kitchen
Located at Taman Tun Dr. Ismail , this restaurant here serves one of the best loh si fun in Malaysia. Serious business this place has. Not only is the food good, its affordable as well. Serge was here having dinner with his family and what they ordered was loh si fun, fried rice with salted fish, marmite pork rib, baby kai lan with garlic and lala with something. Last dish slipped Serge’s mind.
The loh si fun, Serge will not comment about it as that is something the audience need to try it out for themself. With all honesty it’s good but Serge isn’t a loh si fun fan to begin with. Skipping review on the lala thingy cause Serge doesn’t eat it.
The baby kai lan with garlic, now this is something. Other restaurants that Serge goes too makes this particular dish either too soft or too hard. Here it is just right, top layer crunchy inner layer soft and yet it ain’t that soft.
Marmite pork rib is one of the best dishes this restaurant can offer. Meat is tender, the taste of the marmite is not too much but perfect. And if you ever get a piece that is without bone, Serge recommends that you chew slowly and savor the juices.
Lastly, fried rice with salted fish. OMFG, generous amount of salted fish and not the wet type but the crunchy type. The rice isn’t soggy and the mix vegetable is about right. When you chew on the rice and bite on the salted fish the mixture of both is elegant that you wonder if the cook has some kung-fu up his/her sleeves.
On a sidenote, if they had more waiters… service could be faster.
All in all Serge gives this place a 4/5 stars.

The Love Guru - Review
First and foremost, this movie is probably one of the best movie which Mike Myers has ever starred in. Although his Austin Power movies were good, Serge did not like those but the Love Guru is something else. Serge would like to say if Myers continued to star in films such as this, Serge would be a fan of his.

Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay - Review
Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, was screened in the United States on the 25th of April 2008 and gathered $14.9 million in 2,510 theaters, in the United States and Canada, during it’s opening weekend. Which was better than their first movie called Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle. So tally ho, we go as we give you a rundown about this movie that is made of win.
From the amount of drug abuse, cigarette smoking, whores and bottomless women and penis reference now and then, it pokes fun at presidents, the Islamic terrorist and the government. We can safely say that the only way Malaysians will ever see this movie is either by getting a bootleg version, downloading it off the internet (mininova comes to mind) or if you’re really lucky, the censorshipboard might allow a dvd copy into the stores. But with major cuts. Anyway this version which Serge is reviewing is the unedited version.
Harold Lee and Kumar Patel are roommates, who if given a chance will stone themselves with weed, bong, grass and anything that can make them high. Harold is an investment banker who symbolizes personification of the suppressed Asian-American employee and student in the United States. Kumar on the other hand, is free-spirited medical prodigy that does not want to work as a doctor, marijuana lover and sharer of recreational drugs.
The movie begins with Harold taking a shower and dreaming of Maria, of which interruption occurs with Kumar taking a dump. A dump caused by eating many burgers which could feed a family of 10 and more. Both of them had a plane to catch in an hour for their flight to Amsterdam. Harold pack and Kumar fap.
At the airport, Kumar used his genius mind to stop the security officer who was performing random checks by citing that he (the officer) was a racist. While at the airport, Kumar sees his ex Vanessa who is getting married to Colton later in the week. After some chit-chat, Harold and Kumar board their plane to Amsterdam.
In the tradition that follows, it’s revealed that Kumar brought in a bong and wanted to smoke it and get high on the plane. That is after he enters into the washroom that Harold was using and whip out his self-made smokeless bong. Which in Serge’s opinion, if that existed it’ll be awesome. Not wanting to be involved in Kumar’s Mile High Club, he leaves. An old woman who sees Kumar lighting up the bong shouts. A tussle happens and the both of them is caught on suspicion of terrorism.
Before sent to Guantanamo Bay, the two are interrogated by an officer of the law. Now this guy takes things literally and sees himself as a savior to his country. Kind of reminds Serge of how the fanatics think. Thus our hero is sent to prison and their next door neighbor are terrorist, who’s only meal is cockmeat !. Which leads to them being offered cockmeat by this big size guard.
Escaping the prison and illegally getting into the United States via Miami, Harold and Kumar looked for the closest friend that can think off. Which, that guy is having a party known as the bottomless party. All guest had to be bottomless and they had to keep their top on. This scene brings out a penis that looks like Bin Laden. With advise given, Harold and Kumar head off to the direction of Kumar’s ex’s fiancee to gain help.
Later on in the movie, after escaping the Ku Klux Klan..they hitchhike by the one and only Neil Patrick Harris. Who plays as a parodified version of himself. Always looking to get laid and getting high. The three of them ends up at a whore house and at the end of the day, we see NPH get shot. Harold and Kumar steals his car and zooms off to their last hope.
Things does not go well as their help actually turned them over to the authorities. On the plane high above, they escape yet again thanks to their guards stupidity and off from the plane they go. With two men and only one parachute! Kumar and Harold lands into President Bush’s hang out home. There the three of them bonded over weed. With a guaranteed Presidential pardon, they move forward to stop the wedding.
All said and done, the show ends with the heroes getting into Amsterdam the land of legal weed. For the love of all that is good, do watch it. For comedic effect 5/5 and remember to have fun watching this movie.
