How long has it been since, we last updated here ? It’s been too long to say the least, server was down and out. Some mySql issue of which we have no idea what had happen. Nevertheless we are thankful that we are back.

What the fuck has happen so far? Well we have Anwar Ibrahim becoming a Member of Parliament when he won the Permatang Pauh by-elections, win that is a major blow to the Barisan Nasional. With all the allegations of anal sexuality still going on, we hope that he (Anwar) will be able to keep his seat. At the same time, we hope that the new government will be able to do something to change this country and its economy as we are heading on to a recession.

Price of petrol dropped from RM 2.90 to RM 2.55, a drop of 5.6% of which this is a good move of the powers-that-be. Though one will notice that this happen just days before the Permatang Pauh by-elections. Politically motivated? You bet your ass it is. If it wasn’t for the eloquence of PKR’s leader Anwar Ibrahim, Serge will say that the people will be swayed over. This did not happen and that is good.

Over in the United States, Barack Obama has be elected to become the next President of the Unites States of America. In which the reign of the Bush Administration will be brought to an end and the economy of the Greenbag and getting the troops out of Iraq.

With his election and the way things are moving, the first African-American President could be come a reality. Support from the Clintons is making John McCain run for his money and his ass. In the final week of September, Obama and McCain will have their first of three face-to-face debate until the election on November 4th. As many of you will know, Serge is a supporter of Obama and by the gods let him win.

Over in China, the olympics is over and it was good. Usain Bolt is the man of speed with a record of 9.69 seconds for the 100 meters. Both the World and Olympic Record has been shattered. Serge would have reach that in 30 seconds at full steam.

Heading back to our beloved country, Serge will talk about the stupidity of a Malay gossip newspaper known as Harian Metro (Daily Metro). In 2006, same paper published an article about the bad boys of anime and as all of you know, Serge replied in a form of a post and there were others too who joined the fray.

In recent days, the above newspaper took another bite on a meat that should never chew and started to bitch about anime figurines. Some where in this month an investigation took place and the authorities raided shops as these figurines were deem obscene. Of which Serge would have to half-agree with them.

Young collectors with fetish for obscene dolls

PORNOGRAPHIC dolls, which can cost up to RM200 each, have flooded the local market and are being snapped up by well-off young collectors.

Harian Metro reported that collecting these dolls was a hobby to some, especially children from wealthy homes, according to the Home Ministry Quranic text control division central enforcement unit head Mohd Rizal Abidin.

The dolls were being sold in shopping malls in the Klang Valley.

“The traders told us that most of these dolls are popular with teenagers who bought them for their own private collection, or as gifts for their friends.

“Action has to be taken as such pornographic dolls affect society’s moral values,” he said after raiding several premises which sold such dolls in Bukit Bintang, Subang Jaya, Petaling Jaya and Brickfields since last Monday.

Mohd Rizal said they confiscated 114 dolls valued at about RM10,000.

Oh the woe, Fatcat Lim has a really nice rant about this shenanigan. For those who are in the figurine collecting business, you know that the only think pornographic about the figurine is that some is fully naked or half clothes. But if we are to remember correctly, it is only when we have some object inserted into the nether regions do we say that it is pornographic.

One more thing, if some of you might notice it and some might not lightbox-style has now been reconfigured and is working like a charm. Many thanks to Jeremy who helped Serge in this endeavor. Now Serge is happy.

What can we say ? What words can we described about Barack Obama who Serge enjoys listening to as he is man of calibre, of presence that has not been seen for a long time. Obama is like the ancient leaders of Rome who knows how to stir the hearts of their men and who understands their needs and never down plays them.

After watching the above video, Serge hopes that he does become the first African-American President of the United States of America. Although Serge is not from that country, Obama’s talks about change to his country, Serge believes that change no matter where it is; will in fact affect the countries which looks up to it such as here in Malaysia.

If only here in this country, there was someone who could stir the heart of its countrymen and country women; if only someone here could step forward and make changes in how the government is being run. Change to ensure that every Chinese, Malay, Indian, Punjabi and other minorities gets the same benefits. The removal of the Bumiputera (prince of the land) quota, would be the first change to be seen.

That quota was meant to help the Malays at first, but look at how it is being abused right now ? The young folks now, they roam about and become Mat Rempits, loiter here and there… all because they know with this Malay Quota, the government will come to them and save them from all their sins. This is a crutch that needs to be removed and quickly.

Another would be the control of policies such as the recent petrol price increase. During the reign of Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohammad, the economy in Malaysia was good and well off that foreign investors came to us to invest in us. Even though during his reign there was a petrol price hike, it was not as stressful.

Not to mention, with constructions such as Petronas Twin Towers , KLIA, Sepang F1.. we the citizens, knew that the price increase for fuel at that time was indeed used for a good cause. Those constructions has placed Malaysia in the eye of the world.

Though it is sad to say, that when the fuel price increased yesterday; it happened at a time when the Malaysian economy was not at an acceptable level. If only the increase was just at 10 cents, it wouldn’t hurt the citizens. Increasing any daily needed items during a time when economy is not so awesome is not awesome, a kin to saying to a person; “Hi, we don’t need your services anymore..but before you leave kindly pay us back N amount as a severance fee”.

By the grace of all that is good, let there be changed.
