ISA : Incidentally Sodomizing Anwar (indirectly)
As we all know about the ISA and how they have oppressed the citizens with their abuse of power by placing some known and unknown individuals in detention. For Serge’s counterparts not from Malaysia, the ISA (Internal Security Act) is a law that allows arrest of any person without the need for trial in certain defined circumstances. Circumstances that according to the law books is when someone threatens the security of the country.
Some of you guys out there must be having a heart attack, those who works for human rights movement and those who practice law. “Arrest of any person without the need for trial“, scary isn’t it. But this how it is here in this country over here. What can be said, is that out of the hundreds of people that was arrested and placed under indefinite detention; only 1% did threaten the security of the country. The rest of them, well it is all about politics.
