Life drawing sessions , the people at Comic Fiesta has it!

Now, artists, game designers and just about anyone interested can bring their portfolios for instant industry feedback at Comic Fiesta 2008! We’ll have industry bigwigs from companies such as Animasia Studios, Imaginary Friends Studios of Singapore, Foldees, GempakStarz, Eden Animation, Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) and more to review your portfolios! In fact, you may even catch the interest of these industry players and, perhaps, get a shot at working with them! All you need to do is bring yourself, your portfolio, and be at our Portfolio Pavilion* to get feedback for your works!

And yes, it’s completely FREE! Just attend Comic Fiesta 2008 @ Sunway Convention Centre on December 20 and December 21, 2008! Remember to get your tickets for Comic Fiesta 2008 if you haven’t already!

Why are we doing this?
Comic Fiesta was created for fans, by fans. Once most of us joined the working force, we realised that it was difficult for us fans to continue doing what we loved, as there was a gap between what we wanted to do, and what we were being offered. The Portfolio Pavilion was conceived to bring key representatives and icons from Malaysia’s, and its neighbouring region, comic industry closer to the fans, bridging this gap. So bring your best works and show them what you’re made of!

You never know if you’ll be offered a job on the spot based on your portfolio and your skills!

Would there be any reason to begin a headache like no other ? By the grace of all the deities, Serge should not be getting a fuckking headache and yet he is. Reasons ? Oh besides the obvious 16 Days to Comic Fiesta, he was smacked all of a sudden to do a somewhat secret project. A project which involves CF, though not many knew about it.

Brushing that aside, he is then hit by a need to edit some organization’s website urgently. However the person who wanted Serge to do it, has disappeared or should we say by the time Serge is able and free, that other person is not. Life is getting creepy this month and he has yet to buy it.

For the cubicle of which it is like the Artic, one of the colleague according to what the wind has spoken, will be leaving to another department. When that happens, Serge would probably be somewhat in charged. Though he must beg and plead and beg and sell his ass and make damn fuckking sure that they hire someone. For a duo is not a trio and a trio is needed here.

Before leaving for home away from the office, he had some quick lunch with his 9 floor friends who are into the things that Serge is into. There is a figurine collecting who is quite close to a maniac, one who WOW during his free time and a lady who is into the questionable anime of which it is not hentai related.

Tomorrow the lady will be bringing her hdd and Serge will see her collection. It’s good to be famous.

Here we are in Pavillion KL. And at the centre court is the Mac+iPod discovery week. Besides having the latest Mac and iPod products, they are having talks about the lovely Mac and we too have a service spa for Apple users to service their Apple product.

For those who are here, the guys has an iPod for you to test. Terms and conditions do apply. On a quick note, did you know that Apple Malaysia now has their own online store which was launch on the 12th of November 2008.

And did you know, there is myMUG, which is the Malaysia Mac User Group. Though they are not authorized by Apple Malaysia, they are an awsome bunch.

Before Serge leaves, he would like to announce that Comic Fiesta 2008 will be upon us in one months time and it will be held at Sunway Piramid Convention Center.
