slowly but surely Serge is rebuilding this website with gusto,presto and lemonade cheese. It’ll take a while, since he does not like the fact that the main component he needs to play around with is the loop.php. But this theme is extremely clean and he believes the versatility of it is for the good of the Broken Mirror and to the readers who reads it.

Can’t do much editting as the connection at home is the major bad ass which needs an asshat to resolve it. So most editting will be done in the office. On an added note, people in my office is interested in Yuu-Chan who was cosplaying Yoruichi during GACC as they fine her, sexy and in the words of one of the people … “Firm boobs”.

Because most of his visitors are still on dial-up/isdn and the fact that Serge believes that a website that loads slowly at non-peak hours are bad, he has taken the effort to try to minimize and optimize his site. While speaking to the people of 9rules in their awesome irc channel, they passed to him a simple yet effective site called websiteoptimization.com.

This site through this test result, told Serge that his site has a major flaw. That is which of load time, as a former designer who emphasizes on websites, he has forgotten the rule of thumb. Which is, “load it quick and keep company, load it slow and lose company”.

With that in mind, a change of theme and a reduction of image file size is needed. The quantity of images shall be reduced, as well as the quality. But the quality will be reduced to the barest minimum to make it look good and at the same time loads quickly. So with advice from the site mentioned, all images will be placed on greyscale with a hyperlink to the original colored image.

Another reason load times are slow is because of external scripts running. Most of this scripts are Google Ads which will be really and near impossible for Serge to optimized. It’s either remove it or bare with it, this will be decided later.

All of this is done so that the 1190 submissions and when Tyme White comes running to this site and slaps her seal of approval on Serge’s forehead, this site will be loved and molested with evergreen bluegrass love.

Serge is confirmed to be in the submitted list, now he has to hope that he makes the cut.

Just submitted, for 9rules, hopefully Serge gets this. It’s cool to know that 100 sites has been submitted and all within 15 minutes.

And today as a side note was out with his two best buddy for bowling and online gaming.

Now Serge has been and still is a fan of this awesome Anime Weblog which is powered by probably the greatest weblogging software in the entire planet *insert lame-ass drumroll* WORDPRESS. This site which Serge has stalk since it was first born quite new (also known as before it became a 9rules member).. is probably a site which he should have added in his blogroll before this. But hey at least now it’s in his list now.

The site is basically Serge’s landing page when it comes to anything anime and basically it’s a place to checkout screencaps before he starts downloading any new anime. (with about 200gb worth of space left…that HDD has to be filled soon). Anyway, it’s really good place to know about near-latest news about anime, manga and the occasional knick-knacks.
