Live long and Prosper at Studio V

DIEHARD Star Trek fans have been eagerly awaiting May 8, 2009. It is when the latest Star Trek movie opens worldwide. For Malaysia, the movie will be screened a day earlier, on May 7.
This isn’t just another Star Trek adventure featuring one of the many casts that we are familiar with. It’s a brand new cast and this is the movie that takes fans back to the beginning – to the early days of James T. Kirk and his USS Enterprise crew members.
The movie, starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Eric Bana and Winona Ryder, tells the story of a young crew’s maiden voyage on the USS Enterprise. It is a journey where they will be tested and life-long friendships will be formed. The new recruits, including Kirk, must find a way to stop an evil being whose mission threatens mankind.

Gamma Rays and Chips with Fish
And so yesterday was an event organized by the people known as All Malaysian Bloggers Project (AMBP). Talks from Peter Tan, Kimberly Cun, Rohan Thomas, Project Petaling Street dude, some dude from Cinema Online gave talks.
People whom Serge recognized was , Patricia, Melissa, Shaz, KY, Hui Meng (sorry lar forgot how to spell his name), Sashi and Frederick. Most of the faces are new to Serge, which is a good thing as he would like to know more Malaysian bloggers. It was a surprise for him to see Natalie, whom he has not seen for this past 5 years plus. Now, now, don’t go running about and ask him why; for Serge himself does not have an answer.

You are (not) Alone
The guys, gals and swingers over at All Malaysian Bloggers Project, is organizing the Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone movie contest. Whereby members of AMBP, will choose one image given and caption it anyway they like it as long as it is Safe For Work.
Serge has chosen his image and this is it.

Nothing much to say about it really, hopefully he will get one of the 50 open double pass tickets. Although he has seen You Are (not) Alone, he would like to see it on Malaysian cinema and see how the government does it’s jackass censorship. Or the worst thing that they could do is not censor, but get some idiot translator who will translate from Japanese to direct Bahasa Melayu.
