Stubborn and Humiliation in Klang
Somewhere at around 0900hrs, Serge was in Klang enjoying a delicious tapao-ed chicken rice from the shop’s neighbor while his dad and his sister was having bak kut teh (pork rib soup). As a former Klangite, bak kut teh has always been a weekend staple for us except for Serge.
For the only part in this dish that he likes is the soup. Damn delicious to dip with yu char kway (dough fritters). Being the man who eats fast, Serge finished his chicken rice while his sister and father just received their dish. While watching them wait, his eye darted to a table across.
Typical family, talking and chit-chatting. Ever trigger happy and thanks to the powers of flip screening and the make stupid/don’t know face, Serge shot them or to be precise; he shot their daughter.
Pulling the trigger was fun as you want to get the right moment. With that done, a horn from a rubbish truck was heard. That annoying air horn which you want to take and shove it up Uncle Stan’s ass. This was a case of, rubbish truck driver had every right of blowing his top off.
At the place where we seat behind Serge was a Mercedes. It’s those old C-class model and who ever the dumbfuck was, parked their car at the corner. Rubbish truck wanted to turn and could have turned, if the said car was not at that corner.
Either the driver of the car was not eating at where the car was parked, is deaf, is humiliated to not move their car or is just plain stubborn. Serge would take stubborn and humiliated as the main reasons why the owner of the vehicle did nor repark the car.
Stubborn for if the rubbish truck forced his way and hit the merrcedes; owner can sue and win some money. Humiliated for if the owner went and repark the car, all of us patrons in the shop would have stared the driver down until the driver peed in their pants.
Even though Serge has these two reasons, the driver is probably inclining on stubborn for forty minutes of blowing the horn; the driver did not even appear. It was due to some of the other patrons that the rubbish truck was able to get out but it was not in the direction the rubbish truck wanted to go.
Another effect of this, a small traffic jam built in an otherwise free flow zone.
