While looking for some neat widgets, the About Me widget written by Sam Devol caught Serge’s attention. It was something which would fit his sidebar nicely or so he thought. Upon the first installation, Serge noticed that the font size for the sections was not following the css of his wordpress. But Serge had no idea how to make the necessary adjustments within the widget, thus with a quick contact form… he wrote a message to the Troubleshooting Monkey Sam. Lo’ and behold, a reply was given and even though Serge is a n00b in the essence of php; Sam’s reply was easy to understand. And with some changes, the widget displays it nicely.
Serge recommends this plugin for those who like some ego boosting.
Alright, in work related events… the management in this company has gotten terrible. They want to take 10 people from the department in which Serge is in… stating that our group is overstaffed. Now this is true in some aspect, but why the hell did you make so many opennings in this department? And now after you have taken them, our department is understaffed and the emails that we need to reply customers are coming in by the hundreds.
And you’re saying those 10 will go back to replying email when the pool is high, but with the same pay ? Hilarious.
