V (2009) -S1E1
What is V ? Well it is a cult series involving an alien race coming to Earth. This Visitors (shortened to V) revealed themselves to the humanity and spread words of peace, freedom, stability and all the usual alien crap of I Come In Peace. During the first run in with the V, humanity is given cures to diseases that has plagued them for centuries and everything seems fine and dandy. Unknown to humanity, the V has already infiltrated Earth and in reality are a war-driven reptilian race who wished to take over the planet.
Only a handful (in the start) knew and understood why the V came and is mounting a revolt. This is the premise of the tv series V and Serge has say that finally after 14 damn long years, V is remade and this episode of a re-imagining of V: The Series which originally ran from October 26, 1984 – March 22, 1985.
For those who has not seen V due to your age, it was a cult classic seriously and Serge thanks his dad for actually recording those shows in the late 80’s. This first episode which wasn’t exactly a kicker, it brought back all the elements that will make the first season which is scheduled to have 13 episodes a good cult. So far the only character that strikes me as interesting is Father Jack Landry and Ryan Nichols who is a V but a traitor to their cause.
For now, Serge will see how V will go.
