mySimplifieds with PC Fair
Today around 0900hrs, Serge was at the San Francisco Steak House in Suria KLCC; who hosted the mySimplifieds Community Meetup. This meetup was a small one with probably less than 40 participants.
Community Meetup started around 1000hrs+, malaysian rubber time and it was expected. First up was Aishah Ali, Managing Director for mySimplifieds and she spoke about the company and what it is all about. Kin the techjunkie behind the website spoke about the new design and upcoming features.
One of the features was Facebook Connect and how it is going to integrate with their website and their Facebook page. Once his talk was over, Jojo Struys gave a speech about fashion as today’s meetup was all about fashion. With her talk over, it was a small fashion show with three models showcasing wares from Paper Doll(?) .
With that over, the people from mySimplifieds had an open mic session. During the open mic, participants gave suggestion and asked questions. Serge asked about what the next Bargain Tuesday =D and suggested to have a timer as some of the Bargain Tuesday hunter might have their computer clocks faster or slower then mySimplified’s clock.
The food that we had was good and during this time period, Serge chatted up with Jojo Struys. The conversation was made of jade solid gold of wind and thunder ! What did Jojo and Serge chatted about ? That will be revealed later on after he confirms some items, but it is good.
After that, he went to the PC Fair which was held at the KL Convention Center. This year there were less stalls and it was not as lively as it was in the previous year. Not much booth girls as well.
Accompanied a friend window shopping before having a quick pit-stop at the church before coming back home. Today is a good day. Thank you Jojo ! And check this image out…
