Delicious Malaysia
Recently at the Putra World Trade Center, a gastronomical food festival was held and Deliciously Malaysia was the event. Here they had hundreds of exhibitionist and an array of food being displayed with a section filled with hawker food.
Serge arrived at the venue around 1200hrs and when he stepped in, he breathed and was sent to heaven from the smell. There were two stages set up, where they held several cooking contest as well as a Q&A session to educate the masses on how to prepare food.
Although Serge went there on the first day, the crowd there was tremendous. He believes that there were more than 2000 over visitors and this is not counting the exhibitionist and the crew that was helping out. To the people who made this possible, Serge congratulates all of you.
Cooking wares were being sold from pots to pans to stoves. Drinks such as kosher malt drinks to things that you would not even think of were being displayed as well. There was even a section where they served kosher Bak Kut Teh.
Besides the kosher Bak Kut Teh, there was a board that told the visitors on how this particular dish came about. Interestingly it is a dish from Klang and Klang is where Serge came from previously.
At about 1600hrs Serge left the place as he had a Craft Brews event to attend later. Only qualms he has about the event that most of the talks were done in Mandarin or Cantonese ! Serge does not understand~~~ cripes !
To end this post, more pictures of the food here.
