Blackberry Bold II – Celcom Launch
About two weeks or so ago, Celcom launch the latest Blackberry Bold 9700 at La Bodega, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Serge was there thanks to Nuffnang who told him about the event kind of last minute.
Upon Serge’s arrival, the queue was long. It was definitely longer than Serge’s proud lightsaber and we can say that all Malaysians has some kiasu (afraid to lose) syndrome in them. Why ? Well for on this day, the Bold II was being sold at a very very cheap price that even Serge was tempted to do buy. Luckily he did not do so. There he met some of the common bloggers and two fellow Comic Fiestans.
We waited for awhile before the Celcom people came to give their speech right after a small dance number. The emcee of the night was Harith Iskandar. With all the shenanigans done and with the event over, Serge had a quick chat with some of the visitors there before he left and got his ass back home.
The event on a whole was quite organized and the crowd actually lined up to purchase the phone, unlike another event which Serge attended in the following weeks.
