Alan Menken’s The Little Mermaid (Broadway) - Review

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

This is the Broadway version of Disney’s The Little Mermaid and consist of 29 tracks in the album. Songs such as Part of your world, Under the Sea, Les Poissons and other tracks that we grew up with. Yet behold the powers of Broadway as the vocals are different, tunes might be the same as the original movie and yet you just want tap your fins and dance.

Last Night, Good Night - lyrics

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008

Artist : Livetune feat. Hatsune Miku
Album : RE:Package

すやすや 夢を見てる
君の横顔
気づかず 零れた涙

頬を伝う
せつなの ときめきを
この胸に 隠してたの

Last Night, Good Night
Last Night, Good Night

この夜 君の手
握って 眠るよ
おやすみ

素敵な 朝をもう一度
君と過ごせたら
小さなそんな希望さえ

想うだけの奇跡
何も伝えないまま
さよならは言えないよ

Last Night, Good Night
Last Night, Good Night

この声 枯れても
消えない Melody

Last Night, Good Night
Last Night, Good Night

いつかは むかえる
最後を 思うよ
夜空に 願うの

ときわの 笑顔を
おやすみ

Monday, September 1st, 2008

Re:Package

Hatsune Miku is a character from the famous voice synthesizer program Vocaloid developed by the Yamaha Corporation. She (初音ミク, Hatsune Miku) is the first installment in the Vocaloid2 Character Vocal Series released on August 31, 2007. The name of the title and the character of the software was chosen by combining Hatsu (初, First), Ne (音, Sound), and Miku (未来, Future). Her voice comes from actually sampling the vocals of Saji Fujita who sang the ending theme to the anime Tokimeki Memorial Only Love, “Kiseki no Kakera”, (奇跡のかけら) along with Yuki Makishima and Yukako Yoshikawa.

RE:Package was launch on the 28th August 2008 via Victor Entertainment. Out of the 15 songs, Serge recommends the following which has been bolded.

SINGFest 2008 Postlude

singfest-2008-postlude

[this is a heavy image laden post]

First and foremost, apologies for the lack of update. Serge had Defcon-1 on his server and was being pinned down by the agents from Area 51. After much good cop - bad cop dealings that is shadier than your Gan Sakura’s bushy legs, Serge manage to escape and will now talk about his awesome adventures in Singapore which dates from August 2nd to the 4th.

The 2nd was a Friday of which Serge was working until the time of 1430hrs. The bus to Singapore was at 1730hrs. Three hours to mutilate and no justice system can get him for that. So he did just that by warming his ass in the office, disturbing some of his old colleagues before heading off to the bus station.

Genesis of Aquarion

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

This is one album, that Serge will recommend in a heartbeat. Although he has not watched this series, from the songs and the music play.. it will be a good series and it’ll probably make him cry. The opening song is called Sousei no Aquarion (Genesis of Aquarion) which is sung by Akino.

There are two version, one english and the other is in japanese. Both of them has a romantic feel even with its upbeat tempo. In today’s post, the english version is uploaded and one of it’s verses strikes Serge as lovable and calms the heart.
