Having a major headache right now. It’s located on the right side of his head, possibly it’s a migraine. Probably not, this is not the age to be getting migraines. But who knows ? The way we humans have been growing, our evolution has change us for better and for worse. So to be hit by a migraine is quite possible. Let’s just hope that this is just a one off thing. If not, it will not bode well with his infernal plans to rule the world !!!

Oops, sorry about that. Evil side was getting in the way. Body is aching as well and the eyes are straining bad. Brutally honest as this sounds, is the fact that this company has screwed with Serge waaay too much. Four days of 12 hour shifts and then giving a one day rest ?

Who the fuck do they thing Serge is ? There is a time where this will be ok, as during that time he is just a follower. Now the time has change and change for good it has begun.

Since they would like to fuck with him, Serge will fuck them over with great awesomeness. This company by far is the best paymaster yet with the way they are treating their staff, Adolf Hitler’s ironclad rule will just look like someone’s mum scolding her child who ruin her shirt. Cripes, headache again. Another 1.5 hours to go before he can scuttle back to his bed and sleep.

Terry Fox

All of us love to run, for running strengthens us both physically and physiologically. Each step we take, blood pumps throughout our system. Each breath we take, oxygenates our blood. The spur of adrenaline keeps us moving onward and forward to the finish line.

Healthy for you and for everyone who runs. Yet many of us do not know that we can run for a good cause, a cause which is great as we can help those who needs to be helped. What Serge is talking about is the Terry Fox Run. This event is held every year to collect funds just like the Marathon of Hope, to help the people who has cancer and to help out researchers find a cure for cancer.

So who is this Terry Fox ? Terrance Stanley “Terry” Fox, CC (July 28, 1958 – June 28, 1981) is a Canadian humanitarian, athlete, and cancer treatment activist. He became famous for the Marathon of Hope, a cross-Canada run to raise money for cancer research, which Fox ran with one prosthetic leg. He is considered one of Canada’s greatest heroes of the 20th century and is celebrated internationally every September as people participate in the Terry Fox Run, the world’s largest one-day fundraiser for cancer research.

Since 1981, RM 1.3 billion has been collected globally to help out in cancer research. In Malaysia, the Runs since 2001 have raised more than RM750,000/-, with 2006’s contribution being RM281,000.

The Terry Fox Run is a non-competitive event for the whole family, with a large number of participants under the age of 10 and over the age of 50. Two routes are being planned, one for fun-runners and another for experienced runners. Cyclists and roller-bladers are welcome.

Do participate for this event on the 4th of November @ 9am at the Taman Tasik Perdana (Lake Gardens).

For more info go here : Terry Fox Run KL

Serge will be going there (hopefully) and run this run he will.

How to deal with a Cat in Heat

how-to-deal-with-a-cat-in-heat

It’s about 0640 hrs at where Serge is right now and yes he is in the office, some what working his ass of for this company that he is in. Stories about that maybe told later, probably after the contract period is over. Anyway, surfing the internet has been proven to be a resourceful way of learning new things and sometimes, what can be learnt is just too damn funny.

After reading an article from Everything2 which tells the readers on what to do when a cat is in heat, Serge laughed his ass off and nearly fell off his office chair. Coincidentally, this office chair is from the same company that his sister is working for. Which to say the least, is that Haworth supplies office furniture to IBM.

Mother’s Always Win

Wednesday, August 29th, 2007

As mention earlier, Serge was making plans to watch and photograph the lunar eclipse. Obviously since he did not know where the best vantage point is he asked around and found of that the planetarium is the best place to view it.

So with great justice and some minor injustice along the way, he arrived at the National Planetarium at about 1900hrs++ with family in tow (free transport what did you expect ?). Anyhow with camera and tripod ready, he was hailed by one of the workers there, that due to the slight drizzle viewing was not possible yet. Not to mention view times was at about 1922-2044hrs.

So, entered the planetarium and viewed the stuff. It is the first time Serge has been there and it is quite lovely. Should have stayed longer but family >_> . It came to a point where, Serge could not wait so he wanted to go out and position himself properly. But as he stepped out of the door, a chime was heard and a voice spoke.

No, it was not God speaking. But a voice that stated words of utter devastation to geeks and nerds such as Serge. It rang out :

Due to weather conditions of tonight, the cloudy sky has prevented the lunar eclipse to be viewed here.

Wham! Serge must say this… it is like a fight between Father Time and Mother Nature. The Father was kind enough for Serge to arrive before the event started. But of course, Father Time buttcapped himself and Mother Nature got pissed. So with a pissed Mother Nature, she threw clouds of discontent onto the sky.

Daddy - 0 1 - Mother

Crap.

Watching the Moon

Tuesday, August 28th, 2007

With regards to the Eclipse of the Moon post, do take note of the following time :

Penang: 7:28 pm
Kuala Lumpur: 7:21 pm
Johor Baru: 7:11 pm
Kota Baru: 7:21 pm
Kuching: 6:44 pm
Kota Kinabalu: 6:23 pm

This are the times whereby, we are able to see the eclipse. However, we will not be experiencing the full eclipse but just a partial eclipse. If we had a full eclipse, this is what should happen during the lunar eclipse phase :

Eclipse Contacts (local time):
Partial eclipse begins: 16:51
Total eclipse begins: 17:52
Greatest totality: 18:37
Total eclipse ends: 19:22
Partial eclipse ends: 20:23

Quoting Chieh of Stargazer. “This lunar eclipse is not favourable for us in Malaysia, although the eclipse time is more favourable for Sabah and Sarawak where moonrise time is much earlier. We can only see the ending of the eclipse, when the Moon rises after sunset with totality just finishing. The Moon rises as it’s on its way leaving the Earth’s shadow. So what we will see is “section by section” of the Moon “coming” back.

Do take note that the following information has been gathered from Stargazer Scientific
