Ebullient of 2009

And so our mother planet has run the greatest loop in our human existence. Run, spin, run for 24 hours while moving forward ever onward towards the goal; a goal of doing this for 365.25 times and 366 every other 4 laps of great justice. But we do know that as soon as the mother planet touches the finish line, that line becomes the starting point and she (our planet) continues to run the race around the sun.

Serge is talking about the new year, it is 2009 according to the Gregorian calender though its still 2008 in some parts of the world, here he is sitting on his ass living out the first day of 2009. As this is the first day and it being close to 1400hrs, let us all reminisce about how 2008 was from January 1st till the 31st of December.

How would Serge begin, trying to remember every part of the month will be hard… Oh wait a minute, that is what archives are for ! Lets see now what each of the 12 months has brought;

In January, Serge told a certain girl of epic figure (and when Serge says epic figure he really means it) about some of the girls he was interested in which included her. Fast forwarding to 11 months later on, Serge finds out that another friend of his, confessed to the same person about 48 hours later. We will not go into details but just thinking about it is sad and funny at the same time.

Heath Ledger who did a fantastic job of the Joker in the Dark Knight was found naked and dead from an overdose. Yeah, another famous actor of possible lifetime achievement award dead during his prime and when things might be looking good for him. And the Golden Globes was canceled too.

Of course in the month of January is the month where Serge was still not working as he has left his previous job. A photoshoot with the pretty ladies was done one of which Serge had “has” an interest but she was in such godly level, it was one mountain he could have climb but was afraid to do so.

In February, Serge went ape shit when he discovered there was a House MD convention, where they were bringing a mysterious guest. It is also the month where he let legal vampires suck him dry and discovered that his type is B+; so according to blood type in Japanese culture the good and bad traits are :

Best traits : Wild, active, cheerful
Worst traits : Selfish, irresponsible

Serge is inclined to state that the traits are somewhat true, especially the trait of irresponsible. Hah! With the powers of 3G he got himself a mobile blog, which he does update maybe once a month or so, depending on his mood and the items which he has captured. Being the month with the lesser days there wasn’t really much.

Thus we come to the month of March and say that Serge got high from absinthe, GACC in Melaka. Where Masakazu Morita seiyuu of Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach, came down and visited us. It was of epic proportions as it was also the GACC of which he took no photos what so ever because of certain fucked up issues.

March 2008 brought for the epic failure of Barisan Nasional in the elections, the opposition party has whipped BN such a humiliating defeat that a lolbuilder was used :

Gary Gygax who brought to life Dungeons and Dragons passed away and to us table top gamers, he is a God who slayed the Gods in D&D. Pyjamas Party was made by the ever growing Nuffnang and it was there Serge proclaimed his true colors by being a pimp with all the lovely ladies [of which he discovered and fail to use a wordpress plugin properly].

*Stretch*, We bring now to you the month of April. First entry for the month reminds him that there is a certain girl of whom he loves for sister-brotherly reasons and needs to feed her some gelato, you know who you are. Serge too help in the holy buildings known as a church for a short period before he houdinied, there he got to know a lot of young pretty ladies of illegal age. Fsck him!.

In May (yes he would like to be in May for all the wrong reasons), Serge was on a Subarashiki Kono Sekai high where his hands and wrist suffered carpal-tunnel syndrome from it. In the office culture, Serge discovered his twin of which the twin one of Serge’s good work mates.

The popular Pete Teo’s Here in my home, became a hit to the community. Serge became much afraid after someone said this to him ;

You put friends first before yourself, and I think that is a very infinitely noble thing to do – not many people can pull it off and stick to that principle for so long.

When June arrived, the lovely anime known as Macross Frontier was stealing Serge’s life with the awesome songs and even though it was just 25 episodes long, he felt that it was done rather well really. Petrol price went up to RM 2.70 and the chaos was quite bad since Serge experience it near his area. This is also the month where he began to take a liking for then Senator Barack Obama.

Sadness came when he discovered the Blogathon was on hiatus. Watched Hulk with the All Malaysian Blogger Project crew. Then there was the live blogging event which was held somewhere at Mont Kiara where Serge became a mini pimp once more this time pimping the participants and the nuffies.

Urbanscapes is one of those events where any inspiring indie artist should participate in. Serge was there and he enjoyed the crowd and scenery.

July became the month where fanboys delighted and jizz in their pants when Chrono Trigger was announced that it will come out for the Nintendo DS. Bon Odori the yearly event for Serge, he attended as well. Celestial Aeon Project is something that is indescribable and he would like many of his readers go and listen to it. This month is the month where his sister’s car got stolen and also Serge’s heart was as cold as the ice in the star known as Pluto.

August can be some up in one word and that is called Singfest !

September there wasn’t anything significant to talk about so he is skipping this month and moving to October where he attended the October Birthday Fest of which only a few people knew his was also in October.

November to Serge came like the wind as his fellow netmates joked about how the Brits makes better beer and how he sniffled at one of the most awesome proposals ever. Serge fell in love with the EF series and the song Ebullient Future. Fuel price drop to RM 1.90 and there was great joy. And being in Singapore he was watching the all awesome Avenue Q and partied at another Nuffnang event

Finally December! Serge was hit left and right with request here and there. Victor was the major factor for his headache with a side project. Comic Fiesta 2008 went well though a part of Serge and many old timers found something missing. A Kakiis event was held and there he had a good time mixing and stirring with the crowd.

Few days later from that event, he and a few others became cronies and is helping each other become a slut. A youtube link was posted by the mother of all of which it is a dance routine known as the 12 Gays of Christmas.

As mentioned earlier about Comic Fiesta, it was also the place where the lyrics stating that falling in love is hard on the knees came true figuratively speaking. About a few days after the event he was just thinking about someone he has met there and regretted not taking the person’s contact number down. Fast forward to the 31st of December. Not only did he get the number, he has err done something amazing of which the cheque can only be bank in later on.

To that person, you has made Serge happy and you didn’t even know how.

Well, this is probably the longest post of the year unless Serge has something else to say. We end now by Serge and the rest of the Broken Mirror by saying
