Lucky Star Music Fair

Well now, Serge is not exactly a big fan of Lucky Star (らき☆すた, Raki☆Suta)’s music, but this album takes the cake really. When he first listened to a random song called Medaze, Tenchou !, sung by Seki Tomokazu, it had a live concert feel to it. Don’t let this fool you as this album is a normal audio cd that is filled with love and fun. Just look at the cover art and the typography use, Star War-ish. This is what makes Lucky Star enjoyable, it pokes fun at everything otaku both in Japan and out of Japan.

From the 12 songs listed here, Serge enjoyed Medaze, Tenchou! , Emirin No Theme and Minna To Issho. Emirin No Theme and Minna To Issho is sungby Shiraishi Minoru and they really shows his singing talent.
Minna To Issho, is a balladic styled song and one can’t help but love it. It tells the story of Minoru’s character and how he loves the Lucky Channel. Somehow the songs feel sad and yet happy in its own way. And yes, no matter how many times you repeat the song.. it is Shiraishi Minoru.
