Continuing from the previous post, we will talk about the second part of the first episode.
To recap what had happen, Sylar finally gets the ability he wishes for, Parkman is in the middle of somewhere, the Peter that we see is the Future Peter, Nikki Sanders is not Nikki Sanders, Linderman is alive? Mohinder injects himself with the ability-causing adrenaline.
And now the continuation of Heroes S3 E1 - The Butterfly Effect.
Claire is sitting down contemplating about the events, Sandra her foster mother tries to console her. During this time while cleaning, Claire has a shard of glass in her palm, there was no pain which was strange as there was always pain before this. She is afraid that she is becoming something else.
In a dream sequence, Angela Petrelli dreams of what the future has become. Her son dead, many of the good people has died. Waking up from the dream, she visits Future-Peter and tries to convince him to get out of the present day as everything has changed.
At the loft, Maya sees Mohinder hanging from the ceiling. He then explains about what had happen after he had injected himself. He notes that he is different in every aspect but all blood test and everything are the same as though he has never injected himself with the serum. Happy with the results, Mohinder surmises that if it goes well he will be able to remove Maya’s ability and then the both of them has sex.
Still lost, no compass nothing at all, Matt Parkman continues walking before collapsing on the ground. Reviewing a footage, Bob is sad that two of his agents are dead. Elle, acknowledges that it was her fault that Sylar escape but Bob will not let her go after him. Afraid that she will disappoint him again. Back in Tokyo, Hiro has hired a private investigator and the fingerprint the thief left belongs to Daphne Millbrook who lives in France. He and Ando teleports to France.
Tracy Strauss and Governer Malden converse and Tracy advises the Governer to take in Nathan Petrelli as a junior senator. While going back to her car, a reporter comes up to her and shows a screenshot of a sex site that has her as the main model. She states that it is not her and drives away.
At Daphne’s apartment, Hiro and Ando searches for the piece of paper. One of the items in the room includes the Mona Lisa. Else where at a rail line, Claire records her attempt at being hit by a train before she gets rescued by Future-Peter. The two of them talk before Future-Peter leaves and the scene goes to the hospital where Nathan is on his knees praying. He is then interrupted by Tracy.
Nathan turns around and is shocked to see who he thinks is Nikki. After some convincing, Tracy then states what Governor Malden wants of Nathan and she then leaves. Back at Primatech, Elle enters her dad’s office to convince him but finds him dead. She goes down to Level 5 and ask Noah Bennet for his help, stating that Sylar is in the building.
Noah fires a few rounds on Sylar, the healing effect kicks in and he swings Noah away. During this period one of the prisoner in the room screams towards Sylar . Sylar then walks towards Elle and begins to cut her skull open in which Elle’s power explodes knocking Sylar unconscious but shorts out the security for Level 5. The place where the prisoners are considered a threat worst then Sylar (considered Level 2).
At the apartment, Ando questions Hiro who reveals to him about what had happen between Future-Hiro and Future-Ando. Back at the hospital, Future-Peter reveals himself towards Nathan and states about what has changed in the future. Future-Peter states that the choice of becoming senator solely lies on Nathan’s decision. Nathan calls Tracy and accepts the offer.
The same reporter approaches Tracy who has just parked her car and shows to her a video of her having a lap dance with Nathan Petrelli. She still states it is not her and by rage she touches the reporter who wanted to publish the video and freezes him, causing him to shatter and die. Shock by what had just happen she moves away.
Looking at Sylar’s unconscious body, Elle is greeted by Angela Bennet who states that with the death of Bob, she is in charged and then dismisses Elle. Ando and Hiro, trades with Daphne who escapes with the paper once again, but this time Hiro has planted a tracking device on the item he used to make the trade. This was done so he can get the other piece as well.
Waking up from the passionate sex, Mohinder goes to the washroom to clean himself. He ponders on what is happening to him as the skin on his back is peeling way. Matt Parkman regain consciousness and hears a voice telling him to drink from the plant. He only sees a turtle that is nearby, nevertheless he takes the advise and drinks from it. A man appears in front of Matt and it was him that told him to take the water from the plant.
It is then revealed that Matt is now in Africa, the African then states this was not how the future should be. Back at Claire’s house, she greets her dad. Noah then explains what he needs to do. Claire wants to follow him but he refuses. To make sure that she is safe, Noah reveals to Claire that during his journey, her biological mother will be taking care of her.
Recalling back to the Noah versus Sylar scene, the man who was screaming towards Sylar is named Jesse. Future-Peter is angry as Jesse is actually Present-Peter. Somewhere in town, Present-Peter calls his brother to inform him about Future-Peter. At the of the episode, a startling statement is stated between Sylar and Angela Petrelli.
