Heroes S3 E1 - Season Premiere 1

Heroes, season 3 starts off with a 2 hour premier and what can Serge say ? It is abso-fucking-lutely brilliant. He guesses that after the writer’s strike, they creative team has gotten back together and did something right this time. So then, friends let us begin our review of the season premiere of Heroes.
As always there will be screen shots, spoilers and all the usual jazz right after the jump !
Synopsis : In the first part, Peter Petrelli of the future is on the run from a mysterious assailant. The assailant is none other than Claire Bennet, this is 4 years into the future. Stopping time and leaping through it, Future-Peter goes back to the present day. The location of Future-Peter’s leap is at the press conference where Nathan Petrelli is about to announce to the public about his own ability. This is where Nathan gets shot and for those who watched the second season it is also where the finale is.
Watching the news about the events that has happened, Claire calls Peter to check on what had happened. At the hospital, the doctors and nurses tried their best to stop the bleeding but there was nothing much that they could do and thus Nathan is dead. Peter is sad by this sudden turn of events but for some reason unknown, Nathan gets up.
At the Yamagato Industries, Tokyo, Japan; Hiro Nakamura is sitting in his father’s office and uses his power to fast forward and rewind the time on the desktop clock. Ando, enters the room and talks to his friend. Even with the richest left by his late father, Hiro feels empty as he does not have anything heroic to do. Later the family lawyer comes in and gives Hiro a dvd left by his father.
The following scene goes to Claire where when she opens her room door, Sylar stands in front of her. After sucker punching Sylar, Claire ran and tried to escape but couldn’t. Meanwhile at Mohinder’s apartment, Maya was about to hit Mohinder with a bat as she thought he was Sylar. Apologizing to Maya, Mohinder packs his belongings as he is not able to help Maya remove her ability. Saddened by the chain of events, her power manifest until she became calmed again.
Due to this, Mohinder has an eureka moment and believes it is the adrenaline and not a specific gene that causes all of this. In the next scene, Hiro and Ando is watching the dvd. Here lies the job of the Nakamura family and that is to protect and guard a secret that is in the safe and to never open it. Hiro, nevertheless opens the safe and finds another dvd. In the following dvd, his father scolds him for opening the safe but says that the contents in the file can destroy humanity.
A piece of paper containing chemical component is written, but it is only half of it. Something passes and steals the piece of paper. Stopping time, Hiro chases after this person who happens to be a girl who manages to move with no problems in Hiro’s frozen time. Getting knocked out, Hiro falls to the floor and the piece of paper is gone.
In the janitor’s room, Peter seems to be looking for something and Matt Parkman is holding a gun. Trying to read his mind, Peter uses a psychic attack, then reveal himself to be Future-Peter and teleports Matt somewhere. Nathan gets up from his hospital bed and goes into the hospital chapel and states about how divine intervention saved his life.
Back at Mohinder’s apartment, Mohinder replicates Maya’s adrenaline and discovers something important. To be sure he states that he needs to go to the loft to confirm his findings. Apparently the syringe which he holds can give powers to anyone and because a persons blood is unique, the powers will be different. Maya is appalled by this.
Back at Claire’s, Sylar rummages through some files and sees a list of gifted people that piques his interest. During this time Claire stabs Sylar and makes a run for it, but he stops her and does the infamous cut the head bit. Lying on the table not being able to move, Sylar begins to figure out the mechanism of Claire’s healing abilities. At this point, we the fans is relieved to hear that Sylar does not eat the brains.
Before leaving, Sylar states that he could not kill Claire as she has gifts that even she herself does not understand. Even then, it would be impossible for him to kill her. At the loft, Mohinder is asked by Maya not to continue with what he is doing. Some talks and we see Linderman, wasn’t he suppose to be dead ?
In the following scene we see Tracy Strauss who looks just like Nikki Sanders who probably just had sex with the Congressmen who is watching the news about Nathan Petrelli. Elsewhere, Matt wakes up and finds himself in the middle of somewhere and back in Japan, Ando and Hiro is walking and talking before Hiro uses his power to leap forward into time to see what the future lies.
In the future, present-Hiro sees future-Hiro about to attack future-Ando. In this future, it seems that future-Ando has gained abilities as well. Seeing what the future holds and teleporting back to the present, Hiro is determined to find that piece of paper.
Thinking whether to throw or not to throw the syringe, Mohinder Suresh injects himself and convulses on the docks. Back at the hospital, Angela Petrelli spots Future-Peter and confronts him and ask him to go back to his time as what he has done is effecting the future.
