Supernatural S4E1 - Lazarus Rising

Season 4 begins with a hell raising scene and when Serge says hell raising, he really means it. For those who has watched season 3, you know that at the end of the series Dean became hellhound chow and we see him burning in hell. With this you know what Season 4 is and Serge is going to spoil you people with his review right after the awesome jump.
The show starts with Dean, literally getting out from the coffin and at his grave site is, the trees are blasted in a circular fashion. Going to a deserted town Dean gathers rations and wonders on how he managed to get the hell out hell. He then makes a call to Bobby who scolded Dean as he did not believe it was him. With the Dean-way a car is hotwired and he drives to Bobby’s place.
Doors open, Bobby sees Dean and Dean walks in. Only to be attacked by Bobby, being gone for four months and burning in hell… what can be said. Trying to convince Bobby, Dean takes the silver knive and cuts himself. After that they begin to talk and just to be sure Bobby splashes holy water on Dean. No screaming, no burning skin..it’s Dean alright.
Next they track Sam who was at a town where Dean’s body was buried. Same thing, Dean gets attack and after awhile Bobby convinces him as well. It seems that Sam did not make a deal with the Devil, as what was assumed by Dean and Bobby. With nothing else they head on to the best psychic which Bobby knew.
The psychic Pamela who is a babe, welcomes Bobby and the brothers. During the ritual, Pamela tries to look at who the demon was. The powers of the demon was beyond all measure as Pamela’s eye was burnt right out of her sockets. With only a name, Castiel, the brothers head on back to the town.
At the tavern and with the locally possesed locals, it seems that who ever did this to Dean is really powerful as the demons there are scared shitless. The brothers takes a rest and while that is done, Sam leaves while his brother sleeps. In the room, the tv switches on, the radio plays static and the mirror on the ceiling begins to shatter. Bobby rescues Dean and with nothing else to lose, Dean suggested that they summon the demon who did this.
Elsewhere, Sam goes back to the tavern to speak to the demons and to ask them who pulled Dean out. No answers given but a fight, Sam uses his power and kills the female demon. A familiar face appears.
Somewhere at the other side of town, Dean and Bobby summons the demon. Castiel appeared before them and all the demon seals on the floor, at the walls and the ceilings did not stop Castiel. Rock salts, silver blade, demon-repelling dagger all did not work. Castiel places Bobby to sleep and tells Dean that there is a job to be done.
Dean has been saved by Castiel who is an Angel, as God commanded Castiel to save Dean.
