In the room where the coma person is since season 4, House is in the room playing a game that looks more like Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox 360 where he is greeted by Cuddy. It has been 2 months since the death of Amber in season 4 and Cuddy would like House to talk to Wilson. Being House, he ignores her and takes a case that has been handed to him by his ducklings.

In their little nest, House’s duckling asked him if he had spoken to Wilson since the incident. He avoids it and starts talking about 13’s Huntington’s disease. After that, they begin their differential about the patient on what cause the problem and headed out of the nest. As they wait for the elevator, the other two ducklings ask if 13 had the disease of which she denies it by stating it was her problem not theirs.

At the patients room, 13 administers vitamin B12 as that seem to be the cause of the patient’s problem. During their short conversation, the patient had a bowel movement only it was not faecal matter that came out but blood instead. Meanwhile at Wilson’s office, House is trying his best to communicate with Wilson who announces that he is resigning from Princeton-Plainsborough.

At the minor operating room, the duckling performs an endoscopy on the patient to check if there is any tear in her intestinal tract. They found now and was confused on what could had cause it as they were bouncing differentials, one of the ducklings who was doing some earlier test came and gave them the answer.

Our patient is pregnant and thus with an ultrasound machine they scanned and found nothing. Going back to the nest, ducklings begin to squabble and House is convince that the patient is indeed pregnant. He goes to the patient and runs the scan again, this time picking up the shadow of where the fetus is. Fallopian tube pregnancy, that is why the duckling did not find anything during the initial scan.

Stating that the way to cure is to remove the fetus, 13 tried to convince the patient not to remove it. However, she wanted it remove and signed the consent form. At the outpatient center, House tries to convince Cameron to talk to Wilson to stop him from leaving. While at the operation room, some complications occurred during the removal of the fetus.

Trying to blackmail Wilson, House leaves the office and states that he will not return for the day until Wilson made the right choice. Without House, the duckling takes Cuddy to be their mother for the time being. Yet even Cuddy could not give them an answer on the cause of the patient’s deteriorating health. As the duckling watches the operation’s video tape to see if there was anything that could cause a bacterial infection, Cuddy devises a plan of simple blackmail to bring House and Wilson to seat down and to talk about it.

While viewing the tape, they discover something that might be significant. Else where at Cuddy’s office, Wilson leaves followed by House. Chase who had just finished performing surgery is shocked that the ducklings want him to operate on the patient again. He refuses as it could endanger her life. One of the duckling stated the operation could be done in a different manner.

The duckling performs their alternative operation and at the central part of the hospital, Cameron talks to Wilson. She states that is never such a thing as a good decision. Foreman goes to Wilson with a slide of the biopsy which he and the ducklings had just perform and ask him for his opinion. As an oncologist, Wilson states that he sees cancer but he replied that if the slide was given to an immunologist, they will see an immunological problem.

While conversing with Wilson, Foreman advise Wilson to leave if it makes him happy. The treatment for the patient seems to work, 13 confides with the patient that she really does have Huntington’s . As it was a new day, House returns to the hospital has his routine session with Cuddy and he goes to the patient, grabs a syringe and injects her leg where bruises have formed. He states that the duckling’s diagnosis is not right. This was later confirm to be true.

House is in Wilson’s empty office, there he confesses on how he feels. Wilson stated it wasn’t his fault that Amber died, but the reason why he was leaving Princeton-Plainsborough was because of House. This episode ends with Wilson walking out into the empty aisle.

Opinion : As this is the first episode, Serge has nothing much to say but to say that House is still as sexy as ever. Kal Penn in this episode has become the new Chase and that is something. Somehow the acting by 13 wasn’t on par as it was in the 4th season.
