Going postal is a slang phrase meaning a killing spree. This comedic movie did the best it could by giving us a postal moment from the middle of the flick up to the end of it. Postal is a movie directed by Uwe Boll and is based on the computer game of the same name. A game played by Serge.
Although it is based on a game, viewers should relax and kickback and watch Postal. There is a plot but everything else is what makes this B-style grade movie good. Thinking is optional, just have an open mind and laugh your head off. And if you’re wondering if it will ever come here to this island, fat hopes boy… fat hopes.
The plot ? Postal Dude wants to get out of Paradise City which isn’t paradise and yes he is called Postal Dude. His name is never revealed in the movie just as it is in the game. So how does Postal Dude get the fuck out of Paradise City, with nothing much to lose he agrees with his uncle to hijack a shipment of penis dolls. Unknown to them the Talibans plan for the same thing as well.
Hilarity of the comedy is two-fold as it jokes about Osama being good friends with George W. Bush. The hillbilly rednecks and the fact that the Taliban movement has a convenience store in the United States. The actors and actresses in this film is not that famous and that is what make this movie enjoyable, less hype and with less hype you can drop all your standards.
Be fore warned that the movie has full frontal male nudity, topless women, weed smoking, killing of innocent children. Yes innocent children, one particular scene shows 2 boys being shot in the chest. For chubby lovers out there, a fully clothed sex scene with Postal Dude’s wife with a hillbilly neighbor occurs and oh Serge was laughing his head off.
For a B grade movie-esque flick, Serge gives it a 3.5 out of 5.
