That is not a lie. How does Serge know ? Well, he has played the game of which this anime series is based on enough playtime to know that some scenes from the above is not from the game.

Tales of The Abyss is based on the game of the same name published by Bandai who are the main directors for the tv anime as well. From the looks of the trailer which is just so close to damn awesome, our favorite replica Luke, Tear, Guy and the motley crue will be in the series and it’ll follow the game.

Opening theme comes from Bump of Chicken with the track title Karma. This is the same opening that came from the game’s opening for the Japanese release. So far, Serge has is not able to get the ending theme for this.

Fans of the Tales of.. series will be glad as the voice actors will be the original cast from the game and some other awesomeness is included with the production crew.

And for those wanting to know, broadcast begins in October 2008.
