Over the Rainbow - Connie Talbot
By Serge Norguard. Filed in Cinema/Television, Musicology |Serge has been listening to Connie Talbot for the past day or so, those who knows who she is will know how wonderful her voice is. For those who does not know, let Serge begin his story.
Connie Talbot is this 7 year old girl, yes 7 year old; who took part in Britain’s Got Talent. This is a talent show where the winner of the series received £100,000 and are given the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance in front of members of the Royal Family at the Empire Theatre in Liverpool.
In one of the episode, mainly the one where pre-semi final Connie sang the song Somewhere Over The Rainbow. Her voice was like heaven sent and in the Youtube video which Serge will embed in this post, Simon Cowell who is a judge in this show was utterly impressed by her voice. Which he commented was perfectly pitched.
As not to be judgemental about just one song that she sang, Serge professionally acquired her first album entitled, Over The Rainbow. She has a good voice, a little pitchy when Serge first heard the album for the first run. But later on, one such as Serge got used to it.
For those who is interested, in this entry there is a link where you can download the song. It is with great pride to say that Connie Talbot has talent and her 7 year old cute factor is just charming.
And as promised the video.

Okay, so I woke up this morning to find a really great article about America’s Got Talent in the New York Post so I decided to follow up and post it here. I’m so lame for doing this but I kind of couldn’t help it. I really made me excited to watch the show tonight.
