Too Good

Got back around 2000hrs before diving into a meal of KFC Zinger and a quick bath that accumulated to less than 10 minutes. Don’t give that look now, he eats fast and baths….even faster lol.
Work for the day was just usual -greeting- followed by the customary -closing-. As some of the readers might be working in a service industry, they might know the term Service Level. This term is the bane of all those who works in this industry esspecially Serge. The company which he works for tries to maintain a service level of about 90% and above.
Good SLA means that company is doing good, however there are times when it becomes too much of a good thing. How can this be ? Surely most companies will want to hit a 100% SLA mark, Serge to was flabbergasted when one of the commanding presence in his work place asked him not to answer calls for the next 20 minutes.
Serge works in a call center and he is not suppose to take calls ? What were they thinking ? Well, it’s like this; when the service level is too high the company that we are taking care of will see it and notice that they might have hired too many staff and thus they will have to sack them. Thus that is why they had asked Serge to do that.
Schedule for his work is a bit crappy as he will be working 6 days straight, though he is trying to weasel his way out of that predicament. Taking 2 days AL and with the combination at hand, will give him 5 days of no work.
