By Serge Norguard. Filed in Personal |Was busy setting up some items learnt from the all ever knowing Lifehacker, one was the Bluetooth Proximity for Ubuntu and that worked like a charmed. So being the arse that he is, Serge was looking for something of the same type for his Louisa-VII and he found some and yet those did not work.
Not to be defeated, he search and torrented for some USB lock system and they too gave buttcappery to Serge as well. Now this is where hell begins to surface to the earth and burnt the living nightlights out of Serge like an epic fire of Mount Doom from Lord of The Rings. Obviously Serge began to remove all the software which he had installed and performed a registry cleaning and the all powerful restart.
Then like the miracle before doomsday all his -latest- usb devices started to fail and fail with immediate effect. Any usb key, 256mb , 1gb or even the 320gb HDD of Serge cannot be detected at all and yet the strange and funny thing is that, his MX3200 wireless keyboard and mouse combo is working fine. Hilarious this is not. Thus he searched left, right and centre for an answer to this predicament which plagued him since 2100hr.
The solution was found at a place known as Windows Support, home of Gill “Master” Bates the good brother of the devil himself Bill Gates. Anyway, solution found and instructions followed by Serge to a T and hell began to turn from Mount Doom into the eternal abyss of the Marianas Trench.
With those steps taken, USB drives are now detected. Hooray ? Not yet, although it can be detected; files can go out from those drives but files just can not go in. Serge had made certain that his drives was write-enabled and not read-only, but for the life of him and those who knows him, he does not know why this is fuckking happening to him now.
An expedition to solve this issue will begin after he rest and wakes up the next day.
