Beginning of an End, A start for the new
By Serge Norguard. Filed in Personal |It is 0100hrs and it’s the 31st of December 2007. This date for the past 2007 years has been known throughout written history to be the Eve of New Year. It is the beginning of the end of the year and on the following day it will be a start of the New Year. What does this bring ? What is so significant about the beginning of the end ?
Well for Serge, it is the time he reflects about everything. About life, his work, love (if there was any) and the crazy little things that is important to his life; yet it is minute to a point that not enough data can be gathered to write out a decent text about it. Also, we could say that it is a time of forgiving for himself and to everyone close to him.
The year 2007 has not been a good year for Serge at all. A lot of asshattery had happened, things that should not been done has been done and thus regrets are many. Truthfully speaking, this is the year where the rate of depression pressing on Serge was so high, he would love to have died. He would just love somebody or something or some freak of natural disaster to take him away. Away permanently.
Yet with all this depression and what nots, why is Serge still here? Well, all which he has wished for had not happened; not to mention he does not believe in suicide but that is an option and maybe it could be the last option of the evening that has yet to begun. No one knows what Serge is thinking, no one at all.
All this fears, all this regrets is slowly but surely will explode. People say that one should talk to someone to relieve the depression as humanity is not an island and communities and friends are there for a reason; true to some and yet to Serge, he feels that he just can’t. He would rather save someone then let someone save him.
This broken wings are meant to carry those out of the pits of hell only but never to carry both parties in to heaven.
