Why I, Serge Norguard want to eat at Friday’s ? To cut the long story short and then to ad lib to make it long, there are several reasons for it. Not an infinite amount, rather several which is more than one but less than infinite.

In yesterday’s entry , somewhere after the Brave Story movie and plenty of walking and talking and making crack jokes about Heroes, Serge and Zend decided to have dinner / break fast at Friday’s on a Sunday. Though it must be said that it was Serge who suggested it.

Before going into Friday’s at an earlier point of time unremembered by man and machinery, Serge and Zend saw to what Serge will say is a Hawaiian weaponary. Yet this weaponary has yet to exterminate the insects of the order blattodea. Without further ado, Serge presents the Hawaiian Weaponary;

Before passing by this stall which is part of The Curve’s flea market bazaar, there was this group of four men who sang. Not sure who they were, yet listening to them had a calming effect.

Serge and Zend at Friday’s. They ordered their food and waited for it. In the following lines of maybe 15 or so, Serge writes about the food which he ordered. Now here is one reason Why I, Serge Norguard want to eat at Friday’s ? There is this contest which was stated in an entry. Good food and a chance to win RM 1k ? No one in their right mind will give up on such an opportunity.

The appetizer came first, this was the Fried Calamari which is served with Marinara Sauce. Marinara- is a US-American-Italian term for a simple tomato sauce with herbs—mostly parsley and basil—but, contrary to its name (which is Italian for coastal, seafaring) without anchovies, fish or seafood. In countries other than the United States, however, marinara refers to a seafood and tomato sauce.

The calamari is in proper bite-size pieces and is made just nice. However due to the self-raising flour, Serge would rather have them fry ‘em with corn-based flour. Well the calamari and the marinara could have mix well, if only the sauce was just a little bit wattery.

Out came the main course, the Half Rack Beef Ribs. The portion of what the meat looks small in the eyes of Serge, however thanks to great martial artistry; each bite send Serge to heaven and hell.

The meat was cooked probably well done. Although it flaked it his mouth with every bite, the juices that had been intertwined between the meat and the barbeque sauce which was on top, made Serge chew and chew and chew and chew… just to drain the juices of deliciousness.

The chips, excellent. Friday’s at The Curve has yet to fail Serge. Slightly crispy on the outside yet soft and fluffy in the inside. Now that both the appetizer and entrée came, it was time for desserts. Though that came about 20 minutes after Serge and Zend finish their food. Good staff of Friday’s, letting the customer’s tummy simmer down before hitting them with more delights.

In any case just for kicks, Serge dipped the calamari into the bbq sauce. It is now written in the book of Serge’s cookery that it is a demonic sin to do that, however chips with marinara sauce is super.

Mocha Mud Pie. Screams of envy can be heard from across the main road that is if that girl reads this page. Anyway, each scoop and each bite made him feel that it was heaven. Only complain he has is that the chocolate fudge on it should be a bit less.

To end it all, Coca-cola to satisfy the need for a drink. What more could one want ? What more reason’s does Serge need to eat at Friday’s ?
