“Don’t go…..”

“Don’t leave me”

“I don’t want to be alone anymore”

He got up from bed, she was just holding on to his trailing bathrobe. He looked to the left where the balcony was, rain was pouring down. God was crying, she was crying and he too was crying deep within his heart. The years that he has been together with her, all those days and seconds.

She had eyes that was swollen from all the crying, she wanted him not to leave her at all. He wanted to leave. She argued with him about everything and anything in the past. Now when push comes to shove, she began to realize how much she love him and how much he means to her. What could she do ? What in the name of the heavens can she do to bring him back ?

He stared out into the sun with one hand out stretch toward that direction, with palms open and letting the ray of sunlight streak through between each finger.

“The rays are lovely, it is like a kaleidescope”, he stated.

He then turned away and cleaned himself in the washroom and came out and sat next to her. He lifted her chin and kissed her forehead. Tears flowed out from her as he got up and left the room.

Furniture flew and after calming down, she noticed that there was a piece of paper in her breast pocket. She open the note and she smiled and she cried too. For it read ;

” I will return and with my return you will know how much you meant to me”
