A first date is the beginning of a blooming romantic relationship or a start of something which must be ended as soon as possible.

Be quiet, let him do the talking for when you keep quiet, you can listen to your heart and you can focus on what you really want and feel. When you speak, you cannot hear your heart who maybe telling you that the guy you are currently dating is a jerk or a guy who is one of a kind. Therefore, be quiet.
