So, it’s been awhile since he wrote journal worthy here but that is due to what has happened in the past week. Something which has saddened him to no end at all. But life does go on.

In any case there’s this cute girl which Serge has been communicating with recently and it’s been really nice chatting with that person. Those in the irc room may know who this person is and also the other person whom Serge has an interest in..Serge still has an interest with that particular person as well. Now, before running here in a blaze of glory complaining that Serge is a playa and trying to date two girls, hold your horses please.

As mention earlier, Serge was making plans to watch and photograph the lunar eclipse. Obviously since he did not know where the best vantage point is he asked around and found of that the planetarium is the best place to view it.

So with great justice and some minor injustice along the way, he arrived at the National Planetarium at about 1900hrs++ with family in tow (free transport what did you expect ?). Anyhow with camera and tripod ready, he was hailed by one of the workers there, that due to the slight drizzle viewing was not possible yet. Not to mention view times was at about 1922-2044hrs.

With regards to the Eclipse of the Moon post, do take note of the following time :

Penang: 7:28 pm
Kuala Lumpur: 7:21 pm
Johor Baru: 7:11 pm
Kota Baru: 7:21 pm
Kuching: 6:44 pm
Kota Kinabalu: 6:23 pm

This are the times whereby, we are able to see the eclipse. However, we will not be experiencing the full eclipse but just a partial eclipse. If we had a full eclipse, this is what should happen during the lunar eclipse phase :

Total eclipse begins: 17:52
Greatest totality: 18:37
Total eclipse ends: 19:22
Partial eclipse ends: 20:23

A total lunar eclipse will take place on August 28, 2007, the second of two lunar eclipses to occur in 2007. The Moon is expected to enter the Earth’s penumbra at 07:53:39 UTC. The first partial phase will begin in earnest at 08:51:16 UTC when the Moon enters the Earth’s umbra.

The total phase is expected to begin at 09:52:22 UTC and end at 11:22:24 UTC– a length of 1 hour, 30 minutes, and 2 seconds. This is a typical duration for such an event. The umbral magnitude is expected to be 1.4760.

The second partial phase is expected to begin at 11:22:24 UTC when the Moon starts to slip out of the Earth’s umbra. The partial phase of the eclipse will end at 12:23:30 UTC, with the penumbral phase expected to terminate at 13:21:01 UTC.

The above test was done without any torrents going on.

This was taken after letting it connect for one hour.

HOLY CRAP…. LOL. To Silencer, Serge is not jealous anymore.

Because of Bernard’s (rylands) departure, Serge will be taking a hiatus. His return trip will be soon after all of this is over. As Serge is thinking about his life and how it can affect others in many ways.

It is time for him to reflect and make sure that if he ever leaves this world early, all mistakes will be written off and forgiveness of his sin will be laid upon him. It is frightening when his own mother complain that Serge might die early because of the way he walks. Funny to some, but according to Serge’s mother a friend of ours who departed about 3-4 months ago from dengue walked the same way Serge did. In most cases, he’ll pfft this off … but 95% of the time what the mother says does come true.
