13 Friday
By Serge Norguard. Filed in Personal, Philosophy/Religion |Friday the 13th. In some western cultures it is considered a day of bad luck, call it superstition. Those who fear this day and date has the phobia which is called paraskavedekatriaphobia.
Bad luck, karma, what ever one may call it really exist in the mind of those who actually believes in it. Without believe nothing exist. Even if there is physical evidence to what had happen, a disbelieve in that evidence will render it useless.
Same thing goes to religion and other forms of “God” worship. As what Serge has mentioned about man made religion, God is God and Religion is the way we humans interpret God. In most religion that has a higher form of superior being, part of all of this “God” religion has one common factor.
The factor, there must be believers. Without believers “God” does not exist. But some of you out there maybe asking yourself, how is it possible for “God” not to exist when there are some things in life that cannot be explained with modern science ? Frankly speaking, it is trying to keep space in a box. Space exist, it should be there..and because it is there we should be able to compress it. However, we cannot compress something we cannot see.
Space is like God and like God, space is infinite. Sometimes, we have to live our life not questioning things. For there is no answer, only understanding. But to understand we need an answer. Catch-22. All over again.
