Blogathon and more
By Serge Norguard. Filed in Blogathon, Personal |Due to the fact that Serge is starting new work soon, he is unable to participate in this year’s Blogathon. He could participate but it is quite dangerous for his work life. In any case, what he will do is probably participate this year’s Blogathon for maybe 16 hours instead of the full 24 hours.
Just checked the FAQ on the section of drop-outs. It is a possibility that Serge can do this, thus he has already registered.
As it has been in the past 2 years, Serge has always been an advocate and a citizen who believes that it is the children of the world who are the ones who actually owns the Earth. We adults are merely here on borrowed time. We adults must see that, when we are gone our children will be the one that inherits this Earth.
The problem now is this. We adults always think about ourselves, it’s a ME ME ME, I I I situation. We are too blinded to see that the mistakes, the faults done by us is detrimental and it affects the well being of our children. Our hope of the future.
Serge doesn’t want to see children living in poverty, nor does he want to see children be spoilt and be failures in life, just because they were not educated properly.
Soon on this site, there will be a button on the main page for you readers out there to pledge to UNICEF. As this is the charity of which Serge has served and is still serving for the development of children around the world. You can and Serge will appreciate it, that you the readers Make a pledge of any amount.
A bit just goes a loooong way.
