An animation brought to you by Mad House. Claymore is set in an ancient world where we have the good humans and Yoma the demons, which feeds on the humans to survive. This is where Serge says, it’s something like D.Gray-man but it is not to some extent. The Yoma’s eat humans to survive and by eating they learn memory of their food and thus they hide themselves amongst human and because they have the memory they can act human-like and not be suspicious to others. Of course Claymore, can smell them since Yoma emits an odour, but Yoma’s of the smarter kind can reduce the volume of their smell being emitted.
