With regards to this article, this news came out “Govt not out to censor bloggers, says deputy minister“.

We can say this about our gov and how it manages to first, put it’s foot into it’s mouth and instead of taking that foot out, they manage to put their other foot in.

PUTRAJAYA: The Government’s plan to register all bloggers using locally hosted websites is merely to collect a data rather then to censor the contents, Deputy Energy, Water and Communications Minister Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor said.

Let’s now read between the lines “..merely to collect a data rather then to censor the contents“. Now how many of us has heard this line “We will not sell your personal information, we are just collecting it for our marketing purpose” ? Well for those who owns a credit card or has been on the internet for a long time will know.

And we all know that this is just a lie, where else and how else can those viagra selling, money laundering, penis stretching resellers get your email or address ? It’s because this people who has stated that “it is for their marketing” gives it to them. Now let’s get back to topic, and you just know that this “..merely to collect a data rather then to censor the contents” has a red beacon that says “OH I’m just reading your post and giving it to the ISA and what they do to you .. I don’t care.. cause, I’m just reading it”. PFFT.

The plan to register bloggers is merely to assess the situation and keep track on how many bloggers there are in the country and on the information provided by them.

Now this here has the beacon that glows this “We would like to kill off the potential threat of an uprising against our country by making sure the information which comes out from their typing hands is the information we feed them with”. And thus we can say this, Incompetence Strikes…. AGAIN !.

You know, either the ppl writing/thinking up these things read up Battle Royale or I dunno. At this rate… I can start to see Malaysia turning into the real life version of the ‘Republic of Greater East Asia Nation’ as depicted in Battle Royale novel. >__>
