Interrupted Connections
By Serge Norguard. Filed in Personal |One cannot blame for the asshattery which Mother Nature has dealt upon the cables on the internet located at Taiwan. Which is one of the main cables for internet traffic to and from the Asian region. Although we cannot blame, Serge would like to say this… DAMN JOO, Go fart on another cable~~~~~!!
With that off his mind, the cable is some what 80% complete. This is a good thing and the speed has return to what it was. But believe it or not, due to stupidity of which we Malaysians call the TM Net fuckers has in some strange and miraculous fashion fuck Serge’s connection.
This is the 3rd day of nice connection speed but the stability of that connection is like an emo girl. Not a pretty picture that can be assured. The instability is so fast that one cannot even notice that one has disconnected. Even the modem logs does not even show it.
But Serge knows, esspecially when his WLM signs in and out at least 10 times in 30 minutes. One begins to wonder what those bastards are doing. And bastards Serge refers to the TM Net fucktards of their mother.
Maxis, one of the leading mobile telephone company in Malaysia has launched their Broadband service. Thus the rival between ISP has begun and with this happening, many people are rejoicing. For they can (maybe) get a connection speed and stability that is worth what they pay. If Serge gets constant speed and stability for the price that is advertised…. why not ?
One of the main reason Serge is not crossing into heaven and is still sitting in hell besides the fact that the service is not available is the following statement in Maxis’s Broadband Fair Usage Policy.
5.2.3 The system that is used to provide the Maxis Broadband service can identify very high bandwidth users and Maxis seeks to manage the customer’s usage by throttling their bandwidth to a much lower broadband speed to ensure fairness to all customers.
5.3.1 Each customer’s total usage per month shall NOT exceed 3GB of data volume transmitted (total upload and download usage). This is to ensure that no individual hogs the bandwidth at all times.
As a torrenter, downloading maniac, seeder and bandwidth bastardization guru… a 3GB limit is.. is so painful that Serge would rather stay with this hell of a connection.
