That was the former building of IBM Plaza which was sold to Vads. One thing can be said, most of the taxi driver in that area will still call it IBM Plaza. This is sad actually, Vads is a company under TM which is incharged of taking care and overseeing the operations of it’s call center; mainly TM Net and Celcom. Which is also the company which Serge is currently working under, of course IBM Plaza was his former office building.

When Vads first took incharged of the TM Net call center, she had a joint venture with Teletech. This was for a year before Vads said to Teletech, “Ok Fuck ass, we know how you run…get the fuck out!” of course this is just paraphrasing what happened. Because of this stupid move a lot of things has changed, and the change is not for the better. As a young company (Vads), they should have sticked to the joint venture.

Teletech is a company famous for it’s ISO and it is globally recognized. They have the knowledge and the experienced in call center management, not to mention during the joint venture; many of the software used by the customer service agents were derived from Teletech software. Thus when this two company split, most of the technology was brought back except for some items.

Vads for the past year has struggled to get ISO rating in which Serge does not know if they have gotten it or not. Anyway, the company structure is quite messed up that effects workers such as Serge. Think about it, we want to help the customer but we can’t because to help them Vads has to speak to the people in TM Net who then has to contact it’s mother TM to get permission to get things done. Of course Serge can hear some of you screamed your galls out by saying “Ain’t TM Net and TM under the same company ?”, Serge hears you…and that is why he has stated that the company structure is screwed.

In additioned to that the staff turnover is probably the highest in any well established company. In 3-4 months of working, an estimate of 200 staffs has resigned, in every month they bring in about 30 young virgins to be raped and to be placed into their call center. Although staff turnover is high in any call center, but to have an estimate of about 200 staff leaving the company in 3-4 months is rather appalling. And for a call center, the wager here is below the norm and there is not much perks at all.
