Being thruthful is a virtue, but being too thruthfull will caused an emotional pain. Take for example this case. There was once a person who crossdressed for fun and made a living out of it. The crossdresser wasn’t exactly that pretty, but the crossdresser did what was needed to have fun. One day a straightdresser, saw this crossdresser and commented on the clothes the crossdresser was wearing, good comments. At the end of the conversation, the straightdresser, sarcastically remarked that the crossdresser was an ugly looking one.
The straightdresser is all about thruth at it’s deep-cold-knive-cutting thruth, and that person will not beat around the bush. However, if the straightdresser continues this attitude; a lot of the straightdresser’s friend will disappear. You see folks, no matter how much we try to implement honesty as being the best policy, there are times that we need to know how to lie, how to be diplomatic in not saying things such as that. And to know when to keep our mouth shut. In the reference, we could say that the straightdresser was not diplomatic on the feelings on the crossdresser.
Now let us review the crossdresser. After the insult, the crossdresser did not launch a myriad of insults and repertoire to the straightdresser. Mainly because the crossdresser did not know the straightdresser, therefore the crossdresser thought it over and left. What was the use of rebuking someone who didn’t even know how hard it is to dress like this ? As a result, we can safely say that this person is diplomatic in not hurting someone elses feeling.
Be forewarned, readers of this page… Serge does not condone anyone to lie. But think before you say anything, if you feel that it is going to be insulting; do not respond. Be diplomatic, as his brother once said “Diplomacy is like air to the tyres of a car. It’s nothing, but it will make the journey pleasant”.
