Downfall of man-made religion
By Serge Norguard. Filed in Personal, Philosophy/Religion |In response to Jesus Christ and Prophet Muhammad. Let Serge say a few things first about his previous article, first of all Serge is not dissing the religion of Islam, Christianity, Judaism or what ever religion that he has mentioned earlier.
First of all Serge is not a religious person, he was born a free-thinker and later became a Christian and then a person who believes in God and not the religion. Yes he is a convert, and the main reason he says Christian and not Catholic/Protestant or Mormon or whatever Christian denomination there is in this world, is that you idiots out there do not mistake about his religious complexity.
All religions have in the history of time was once a single faith system for it’s own religion. But due to our human nature, religion which was -one- has become a split religion. Such is the case of the Christian faith. The split caused Chrisitianity to be split into Catholic and Protestant sects. Which splinters to other denomination such as Baptist,Born-again,Methodist, Lutheran and etc.
Even Islam has split sects such as Shafie, Maliki, Hanafi and Hanbali. Serge recommends that you read the Wiki on Mazhab as it explains it, as Serge does not want to make a mockery out of this fine religion.
God is God people, Religion is how we humans who are weak in the spirit interpret our God. How you want to interpret your God is none of Serge’s business. Therefore, if some of you bigots out there wants to place your religious nonsense on this earth, please for the love of your God and other Gods who teaches you to do good and not evil, to look at your religion, your faith system before placing on to others.
Each religion has it’s human downfall, clear the log in your religions eye before you go around complaining about that speck of dust of someone else’s religions eye. You’re human, you are not God.
Besides, every faith in the world is based on fabrication. that is the definition of faith - acceptance of that which we imagine to be true, that we cannot prove. every religion describes god through metaphor, allegory and exaggeration, from the early egyptians through modern sunday school. metaphors are a way to help our minds process the unprocessible. the problems arise when we begin to believe literally in our own metaphors.
