it’s just another day, why are those people celebrating something that will come every 365 days ? who knows….
this people are just mad, wont they leave him alone? guess not.

For us, it’s a celebration of life, that we’ve made it through another year. How else could we keep track of time?

But that’s only one a day-to-day basis. If we all kept track of time like that, we would not have any sense that time has truly passed. A year is the longest and easiest time-span for us to keep track of, and when a year passes, then we know that we have survived 365 days. It may have changed us, it may not, but it is still a milestone.
